Matos, and their daughters Nathalia and Mirian Nellys make up the entire team at “Decanaan Inmobiliaria,” an agency located in the Punta Cana tourist area. They feel fortunate to be part of a team of “owners and stakeholders.” The father has 15 years of experience in the sector (12 at Remax, which he considers his great training ground), his wife joined 5 years ago, Mirian, the eldest, joined in January of this year, and Nathalia has been managing social media for over 2 years. “We started Decanaan Inmobiliaria in May 2018, always with God's guidance. Our advantage of working as a family is that we can hold a meeting at any time. It's about working in trust, with everyone having clear and motivated commitments, because they are owners and stakeholders, and this helps us understand each other better. We are united by the same goal, the same feelings,” the family states. Mirian, who takes the lead in the finances, explains the family's method for separating work and personal life: "Setting a 'stop' at certain times. At first, it required a lot of effort from Mom because she was the one who established the rule that after seven o'clock, no more talk about work, so that we could all have our rest and personal time." For this young woman, who accompanied her father to construction sites from a young age, family is about enjoying adventures together. "When people ask me if I'm new to the business, I say, like the saying goes, 'Why would I say yes if I'm not?' because my dad took me to construction sites from a young age to show apartments.
