Government says electrical system is returning to normal across the country

Industrial park will create 3,000 jobs
The Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (Proindustria) has begun the renovation work on the industrial park of the San Francisco de Macorís Free Zone, to refurbish the infrastructure that had been abandoned for more than 20 years, projecting to increase jobs by 3,000.
The “eyes” of technology in police patrol cars
As a National Police unit left the Gapre Prosecutor's Office in Santo Domingo East with three detainees, heading to the Felicidad police station in Los Mina, the operation was being monitored in real time by the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security System. This was possible because the vehicle, driven by a police lieutenant and accompanied by a sergeant, was equipped with "Car Kit" cameras and GPS installed on both the exterior and interior, as part of the institution's reform process.

Environment Ministry considers changing regulations that protect mountain areas and rivers
The Ministry of the Environment is considering modifying Resolution 0005-2017, which aimed to protect mountainous areas and water sources nationwide. “This decision is a setback for real estate and tourism development in the municipality,” Ricardo Quezada, Director of the Environment in the municipality of Constanza, La Vega, stated with conviction during a telephone conversation with Diario Libre.
The ministers step out of their comfort zone and listen to the people
