SANTO DOMINGO. -The Viva Resorts by Wyndham hotel chain will open its new resort “Viva Miches by Wyndham” on December 11, 2024, with 538 rooms offering garden or ocean views, as well as oceanfront rooms and private pools on the famous Emerald Beach in Miches.
The property occupies an area of approximately 290,000 square meters and is Viva Resorts by Wyndham's ninth all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean and its sixth in the Dominican Republic. The company also operates hotels in Mexico and the Bahamas.
Guests can enjoy five restaurants: an international buffet and four à la carte restaurants featuring Latin, Asian, seafood, and Mediterranean cuisine. It's an ideal place for families, couples, and adventurers seeking a retreat away from the crowds.
Viva Miches will offer a variety of activities, with its large pool with a bar, dance classes, nightly entertainment and a weekly crafts market.
In addition, we offer the vibrant Viva Vibe party program with daytime and nighttime activities for all ages.
For nature lovers, excursions to Los Haitises National Park and Laguna Limón offer the opportunity to explore wildlife refuges.
During the annual season, guests can enjoy whale watching in Samaná Bay. Excursions to Montaña Redonda, famous for its hilltop swings—perfect for photographs—are also available.

In the first phase of its development, $80 million has been invested. A second phase is planned that will expand the resort to approximately 750 rooms, with a total investment of $130 million.
It is located near the picturesque town of Miches, with its pristine beaches, expansive landscapes, and serene atmosphere, on the northeast coast. Viva Miches is 90 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).
