SANTO DOMINGO - APEC University announced that through its Faculty of Humanities, it will begin on September 16 the "Diploma in Real Estate and Registry Law in the Dominican Republic", aimed at professionals interested in increasing their knowledge on the subject.
During the opening scheduled for 6:00 pm, the talk "The constitutional precedent in matters of property rights" will be offered, with Magistrate Wilson Gómez Ramírez, to be held in the Apec Hall of the José María Bonetti Burgos Culture Center.
On Tuesday, September 23, the modules will begin, which will include real estate law in the Dominican Republic, processes before the title registries in light of their latest modifications, taxes for the real estate sector and actions before the land courts.
Likewise, the educational program includes the technical processes before the Regional Directorate of Cadastral Surveys, due diligence on real estate property in light of Law 108-05 and complementary regulations of the real estate registry.
Module seven will cover anti-money laundering laws as they relate to real estate transactions, while module eight will address litigation concerning registered rights. Module nine will cover automated processes before the property registry, and the final module will explain the implementation of trusts from a legal and practical perspective.
The training program comprises 22 hours of classes, which will be taught by professionals with extensive experience and knowledge in the subject matter. The program is scheduled to conclude on December 2nd of this year.
