SANTO DOMINGO. -The Dominican Republic Hotel and Tourism Association (ASONAHORES), the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) and the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) will hold a presentation on the country's tourism sector in New York on September 28, 2023.
The presentation, titled “Dominican Tourism: A Comprehensive Perspective – Impact, Contributions, and Sectoral Connections,” will take place at 3:30 p.m. at The Westin New York Grand Central Hotel. This event is part of the Dominican Week 2023 program, which is being held in Washington, D.C., and New York City from September 25 to 29.
The presentation is expected to include a Dominican delegation, tour operators, and representatives of related companies from neighboring states of New York.
Dominican Week celebrates its 31st edition, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) to manage common interests and promote government decisions in accordance with the needs of various productive sectors that make up its membership.
The event also seeks to create a business environment and strengthen bilateral relations through contact with government institutions, international organizations, the diplomatic corps, and Dominicans in the diaspora.
