SANTO DOMINGO. - To allow the passage of a vessel, the floating bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic today, Saturday, February 18, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported.
The traffic stoppage is scheduled from 9:30 to 11:00 in the morning.
The information was provided by the Director of Bridge Maintenance, Romer Francisco Pérez Vargas.
The floating bridge connects the Colonial Zone of the city of Santo Domingo with Villa Duarte, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este.
The institution asked for understanding from the public, especially those who travel through that structure, for the inconveniences that the measure may cause them.
