This is the list of properties that, according to the Pepca, were used by former officials as a fraudulent shield to defraud the State

SANTO DOMINGO.- Twenty-five properties in protected areas have been identified by the public prosecutor's office as part of the schemes allegedly used by a network of former officials of the Danilo Medina administration, headed by former Finance Minister Donald Guerrero, whose operations allegedly defrauded the Dominican State of RD$17,300,642,051.07 .

According to the investigation being carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (PEPCA), details of which began to emerge yesterday, the group involved simulated the purchase and sale of land under the modality of administrative debts.

According to the investigation, 9 properties are located in Higuey, within the protected area of ​​the East National Park (Cotubanamá); in Santo Domingo East on one of the lands where the Las Américas International Airport, José Francisco Peña Gómez, is located; in the National District on a maritime strip of the capital's Malecón; in Santo Domingo West within the lands where the Merca Santo Domingo was built; and in Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez province.

It also mentions Belkis Tejada Ramírez, former legal director of National Assets, who was also responsible for registration and analysis.

Magistrate Romero instructed the prosecutors to collect, together with the regulatory entities of the Dominican financial and banking system, documents, reports and information that support the history and financial management of 183 more people, as well as 26 companies or commercial entities.
