SANTO DOMINGO. - The VII Inter-American Conference on Cadastre and Property Registration concluded yesterday. The meeting brought together experts in the field and addressed the topic "The pandemic and post-pandemic: contributions of cadastre and property registration in the administration of the territory for economic and social recovery, crisis mitigation and climate change."
At the inaugural ceremony, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Judicial Council, Luis Henry Molina Peña, stated that the country's real estate system has been the object and subject of a broad evolution, with a dynamic impact that has been able to reactivate the system and effectively improve its systemic conditions.
The activity, which took place over two days, concluded a series of panels that addressed aspects of interest related to the Cadastre and Property Registry; in addition, the expert and international cadastre consultant, Sylvia Amado, presented the Inter-American Guide to Land Formalization and Urban Cadastre.
During the event, the Inter-American Guide to Land Formalization and Urban Cadastre was presented.
