SANTO DOMINGO.- The president of the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies of the Dominican Republic (AEI) asked the governments of the region to adopt laws that regulate the real estate sector in order to formalize it.
Alberto Bogaert said that in this way it will be possible to end the problems that have hindered transparency in some operations, the most affected areas being real estate, buying and selling properties, among others.
He made the proposal during his participation in the VI Latin American Real Estate Congress (CILA 2021), which was held recently in Guatemala City and where the Dominican Republic is one of the founding countries.
