SANTO DOMINGO. – Fabio La Rosa, president of Grupo Noval, announced the creation of the Noval Foundation, an initiative that aims to generate a positive impact in the communities where the company has a presence, seeking to contribute to the social and economic development of the most vulnerable populations, through solidarity and educational projects.
During the recent celebration of the Noval Awards 2024 , on the 12th of this month, leaders from the real estate sector, collaborators and strategic partners of the brand gathered, in which the plans of the foundation were presented, whose main focus will be to improve the living conditions in the communities through education, sport, culture and social welfare.
“At Noval, we understand that true social development comes from the integration of the social and the economic. Our projects, such as the Solidarity Christmas program, sports sponsorships, and initiatives to promote reading and writing, seek to positively impact the lives of those who need it most,” La Rosa stated.
He emphasized that the entity will be a fundamental pillar in the social transformation of the country, with a particular focus on quality education.
“In 2025, the foundation will be crucial in carrying out projects that contribute to education and social well-being. This is just the beginning of a new era for Noval and his foundation, with initiatives that seek to profoundly transform the communities in which we work,” he stated.
New developments
During this presentation, the company also highlighted its new real estate developments, which include projects in Jarabacoa, Las Terrenas, Juan Dolio, and Santo Domingo Este. Each of these developments will feature innovative design and aims to elevate the quality of tourism in these regions.
In addition, the Caribbean Museum project was presented, which La Rosa envisioned as the largest in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, with the aim of promoting Dominican culture and history worldwide.
Noval also unveiled projects that will mark milestones in its history, such as the development of a waterfront tower complex on Avenida España, one of the company's most ambitious projects. New developments in various areas were also mentioned, with an emphasis on their impact on the local community and industry.
The event also paid tribute to engineer Laura Pérez, the company's operations director, who has been key to the company's expansion and transformation.
“Her leadership and strategic vision have been fundamental to the technical and operational innovation that we have implemented throughout all these years,” said César Latrilla, CEO of Noval Properties, as he took the stage alongside the professional, a moment in which the growing role of women in the development of the company was highlighted.
In a speech, Fabio La Rosa shared Noval's goals and projects for the coming years, highlighting the creation of the company's "new generation" of professionals.
“This year we took a major step forward by creating what we call the new generation of Noval. This is a team of extraordinary professionals, committed to the challenges of tomorrow, who will work to carry out the largest and most ambitious projects in the Dominican Republic,” he said.
The presentation concluded with a message of hope and unity, in which the founder of Noval emphasized that 2025 will be a crucial year for the company. “We are committed to building a better future for everyone. That is our true mission: not just to build projects, but to build the future of the Dominican Republic. Together, we can make a big difference in people's lives and contribute to the country's progress,” concluded Fabio La Rosa.
