The Puerto Plata Cable Car will carry out its annual maintenance program from Tuesday, November 7th to Friday, November 17th, in order to ensure that the facilities continue to operate in optimal conditions.
A report published in Listín Diario states that the transportation service will be out of service for ten days, according to the administration headed by engineer Jean Abbott.
During the ten days, thorough inspections and maintenance work will be carried out on all the cable car facilities to ensure their perfect operation and safety, returning to normal operations from November 18th.
During those days of suspension, the facilities at the top of Isabel de Torres mountain will continue to operate with its land access on the El Cupey road.
The Cable Car administration has informed tour operators, unions and related entities regarding the maintenance of the facilities that have been serving national and foreign visitors for 48 years.
