SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported that this Saturday, March 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Floating Bridge over the Ozama River will be closed to vehicular traffic.
The director of Bridge Maintenance at MOPC, Romer Francisco Pérez Vargas, said that the closure is to allow passage for the barges Winbrild 1810, R/M Gree Chief, M/T Authenticity, and Ex M/T Prosperity I, at the exit of the Joseph Industrial Development shipyard.
The Floating Bridge connects the National District with the Villa Duarte sector, municipality of Santo Domingo East.
Public Works apologizes to citizens, especially drivers who travel along this road, for any inconvenience this measure may cause.
