During the twenty-fourth edition of the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE 2024), which culminated last Friday at the Paradisus Palma Real hotel in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic was recognized by Tripadvisor in the Travelers' Choice® Awards Best of the Best for 2024, as the most popular honeymoon destination in the world and the most popular in the Caribbean.
David Collado, Minister of Tourism, and David Llibre, President of the National Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores), received the distinction from representatives of Tripadvisor, whose recognition is given to the destinations that receive the highest number of excellent comments from the TripAdvisor community.
