The arrival of iconic international brands to Cap Cana reaffirms its growth as a luxury hotel destination in the Dominican Republic

CAP CANA, LA ALTAGRACIA.- The announcement that the international chain Marriott will arrive in Cap Cana with its The Luxury Collection for this summer 2022, reaffirms the continued growth of the Destination City as a luxury hotel option in the Dominican Republic, assured Fernando Hazoury, president of the board of directors of Cap Cana.

The Luxury Collection at Sanctuary Cap Cana will be adults-only and will feature 325 rooms, 5 à la carte restaurants, 6 bars, five swimming pools, among other amenities and luxuries for its guests.

The businessman from the tourism and construction sector explained that Cap Cana Destination City continues to be one of the attractions for the most influential international brands, such as those from the United States.

Playa Hotels & Resorts recently announced its partnership with Marriott International, one of the world's leading hotel groups, to establish a presence at Sanctuary Cap Cana. The Luxury Collection is one of Marriott's flagship brands, comprising some of the world's most iconic hotels, with a presence in over 40 countries, all recognized globally as among the best.

Hazoury highlighted that since 2016, the Destination City has opened up to the development and growth of luxury hotels in the country since the first hotel of the AM Resorts chain, Secrets at Cap Cana, was inaugurated, until today, where high-quality and all-inclusive proposals continue to be incorporated.

The North American cited, as one of the markets with a strong presence in the Destination City, brands such as the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara hotels, Margaritaville and St. Regis under construction, as well as the world's first Sports Illustrated Resort hotel that will arrive in Cap Cana in the fall, which complements the city's hotel offering that also includes the luxury boutique hotel Eden Roc Cap Cana, the only Relaix & Châteaux in the country.
