1. Textures, textures and more textures
We're entering a year where minimalism will gradually fade away, giving way to the much-anticipated maximalism. Materials will take center stage and become the focus of attention. Natural materials with soul, personality, and striking textures are making a strong comeback. While their pronounced character might initially intimidate us, if you choose to highlight the beauty of natural materials , we assure you that you won't regret it. Over the next few years, we'll see these distinctive textures in wall coverings, kitchens, and even furniture. Remember, in 2025, more is more.

2. Sparkles everywhere
Mirrors, stainless steel, or any reflective surface that multiplies light will be a clear trend in the coming year. We all know how important natural light is in our homes, or any other space, so any material that enhances its benefits will be more than welcome. The range of options is vast, from plain, colored, or textured mirrors to high-gloss or brushed metallic finishes. Whichever you choose, the futuristic effect of these spaces will be more fashionable than ever.

3. Wallpaper, but make it fun!
In 2025, we'll say goodbye to traditional wallpapers and welcome the most modern and unexpected designs. Geometric patterns in all sizes, as well as large-format organic prints, are here to stay. The key here is their application, where we should steer clear of conventional installations. Don't just use them on one wall as an accent wall, as that will feel very 2024 next year. Instead, opt for entire rooms covered in wallpaper for a more immersive effect. The important thing is that the final result looks intentional, with a planned design, and not a last-minute, afterthought.

4. Paneling in all its formats
We've been seeing wood paneling in residential buildings for years, but it's time for this trend to evolve towards more playful and unique designs. By 2025, we'll see decorative paneling in all shapes and sizes: smooth, textured, embossed—in every format imaginable! This paneling adds texture, richness, and dynamism to any surface, and can even provide acoustic benefits. As for finishes, we'll see them in every version: natural wood, lacquered, or painted, and even in more specialized materials like ceramics or polymers. Furthermore, they're more durable and easier to clean than conventional painted walls, so if you install them in high-traffic areas of your home, you can also say goodbye to dreaded scratches and dirt in walkways. They're a plus in both design and functionality!
