Cabrera, María Trinidad Sánchez Province – What began as a local initiative has become a must-attend event for those looking to the northeast with a forward-looking vision. The 2nd Provincial Real Estate Fair exceeded all expectations and solidified Cabrera's position as one of the country's most attractive destinations for tourism and second-home investment.
This year, following the recommendation of Cabrera's own developers, the fair was strategically timed to coincide with the "Cabrera in Spring" tourism, agricultural, and commercial event, held from May 1st to 5th. The result was a perfect synergy between tourism, investment, and local development.
The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies of María Trinidad Sánchez Province set up a colorful 25-meter pavilion, which served as the hub of real estate activity during the five-day fair. Nearly 30 local agents participated enthusiastically, advising hundreds of interested parties drawn by the exclusive seasonal offers.
The support was evident: more than 20 local businesses—including developers, construction companies, and promoters—sponsored the initiative, contributing stability, variety, and confidence. The undisputed star of the event was the sale of lots and building plots, according to Edwin Guzmán García of Del Mar Inmobiliaria, who said that those with ocean views or just steps from the beach, in particular, attracted the attention of those dreaming of a retreat on the Atlantic coast.

Inquiries and reservations were pouring in. The fair not only showcased properties but also conveyed a powerful message: Cabrera is ready to take the next step as a sustainable, authentic real estate hub with a distinct identity. Final figures will be announced by the organizers in due course.
What we experienced in Cabrera during this fair is much more than a positive outcome: it's confirmation that when local initiatives are organized, they project themselves powerfully onto the world stage. Cabrera is no longer a secret. It's a promise fulfilled, an opportunity that pulsates with life amidst mountains, beaches, and the shared vision of a community that believes in its future.
