SANTIAGO.- The Dominican Association of Surveyors (Asodagrim) and the Northern Regional of the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (Codia), held a national training meeting in this city with the directors of cadastral surveys and title registrars of the Real Estate Registry (RI), to support the training of these professionals in matters related to their competence.
The training day took place at the Teachers' Cooperative of the Heart City, and was developed in the workshop-conversation format, where the surveying professionals strengthened their knowledge of the regulations and technical provisions of the RI, in addition to clarifying doubts in the procedures they carry out in this department of the Judicial Council, a press release highlights.
At the same time, he emphasizes, issues that arise in the country's land courts were clarified.
The activity entitled “National Meeting of Survey Directors: Strengthening Surveying in the Real Estate Registry” was attended by Víctor Torres, president of Asodagrim; and Juan José Soto, president of Codia Regional Norte, who coordinated the program together with Ridomil Rojas, national director of Cadastral Surveys.

Also present were Juan Jiménez, Pedro Polanco, Brenda Marte and Karina Durán, vice president, general secretary, recording secretary and treasurer of both entities, respectively.
Also participating from the Real Estate Registry were Alberto Rodríguez, Deputy Director of Cadastral Surveys, Northern Department; Daysi de la Rosa Popa, Title Registrar of Santiago; Nathalie Rivera Feliz, Title Registrar of La Vega; César Dalmasí Fortuna, Deputy Title Registrar; Surveyor Melintón Ortíz Jiménez, Title Registrar of Puerto Plata; and Magistrate Danilo Tineo Santana, President Judge of the Superior Land Court, Northern Department.
