SANTO DOMINGO - H&J Real Estate carried out a beach cleanup day last weekend in Juan Dolio, in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic, as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The initiative brought together company employees, who participated in the activity, with the aim of contributing to the conservation of the natural environment and raising awareness about the importance of keeping coastal areas clean.
Heissel Ramírez, CEO of the brand, stated that these types of activities reflect the values that drive the company. “We reaffirmed our commitment to the environment that gives us so much. This day wasn't just a cleanup; it was also an opportunity to reconnect with the principles that define us,” he emphasized.
He added, the leader of the real estate firm with around 10 years in the market, that being part of a community also implies taking care of it.
During the waste collection walk, the team worked together with members of the Tourist Police (Politur) of Juan Dolio, who offered their logistical support and ensured the safe and organized development of the activity.
Ramírez commented that these types of actions are part of their comprehensive business vision, in which they not only focus on real estate development, but also on being agents of positive change within the communities where they operate.
“More than just a cleanup, it was a demonstration of collective awareness and genuine commitment. Because when we act from the heart and with purpose, the impact multiplies. And Juan Dolio, our home and driving force, deserves the best of us,” Ramírez concluded.
