SANTO DOMINGO – RE/MAX Dominican Republic has just received several international awards that reaffirm its position in the country's real estate sector. The franchise, which already has 28 branches nationwide, was recognized as "the number one region in Latin America and the Caribbean in terms of office growth."
“Top Region Open Offices Net Gain Percentage Latin America & Caribbean was the award that the Dominican agency obtained, due to the growth it has had in the last year, reaching nearly 30 offices throughout the national territory.
During the International Franchise Convention, held on February 27 of this year, RE/MAX RD also received a special distinction for its 30th anniversary, while RE/MAX Metropolitana was recognized as the office with the highest number of closed transactions and as the agency with the highest number of associates, both globally.
“RE/MAX RD associates were also recognized in special categories. This was the case for Team Ariel Grasso, which received the number 1 spot for the highest number of transactions registered in 2022,” Alejandro Romero, the brand's general manager in the country, explained to El Inmobiliario .
He adds that, in addition, at the individual awards ceremony, more than 80 RE/MAX Dominican Republic associates were honored, including Team Ariel Grasso in the Pinnacle Club Team category, the highest award in the RE/MAX world.
Romero states that the awards received, along with the learning acquired and the experiences lived at R4 2023 allowed its nearly 70 Dominican representatives attending the Convention in Las Vegas to return to the country with all the energy and power of the brand imbued to continue striving day by day and continue growing throughout the national territory, "thus expanding the most recognized real estate network in the world and the country, to provide increasingly easy and pleasant business experiences.".
About the Convention
The grand celebration brought together more than 16,000 people for three days in Las Vegas, Nevada, to celebrate RE/MAX's 50th anniversary at its most important event of the year, the RE/MAX International Convention, R4 2023.
It has been held since 1976, offering an ideal space for professional growth with talks given by the best speakers in the real estate sector from all over the world; in addition to recognizing the top RE/MAX producers internationally.
“For RE/MAX Dominican Republic, the R4 2023 celebration meant commemorating the effort made to achieve its goals in the different categories,” says Alejandro Romero.
