SANTO DOMINGO. - Ramón David Castillo's life becomes interesting from the very first moment he begins to introduce himself. He holds several professions: he is a public accountant, a personal trainer, and a real estate agent.
She began in the field of accounting, which is her university training. Then she moved into the profession that focuses on helping people achieve general well-being, and for the last four years, she has worked in the real estate sector.
Ramón finds a profound connection between these two occupations, as they both share the same purpose: guiding people in achieving their goals. The first helps them reach personal objectives, and the second helps them acquire real estate.
During the interview with El Inmobiliario, he reflected that when he enters a market, he tries to follow a path that leads him to excellence and allows him to reach the standards it entails.
For that reason, he complemented his professional work with studies in Real Estate Management at the Center for Technology and Continuing Education at the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (TEP – PUCMM).

After achieving that goal, she embarked on further training, this time in Executive Development at Barna Management School. Her preparation didn't stop there, as she continued with an international certification in Commercial Business from RE/MAX LATAM
As he indicates, this combination of knowledge has allowed him to offer a comprehensive and high-level service to his clients, mainly within the company he founded and has been running for almost a year: RE/MAX Quality RD.
In his life as an agent, there is something that motivates him daily. The "possibility of genuinely connecting with people" is the element that makes his profession special, as he understands that his work goes beyond simply advising on the purchase and sale of real estate.
“My goal is to understand their needs and support them in life-changing decisions, such as buying a home or investing in real estate. This process goes beyond a simple transaction; it’s a commitment to my clients’ well-being and future,” she explained.
Going into detail about his company, he stated that Quality was born from a shared vision with the CEO of Urbe Construcciones, Héctor Mendizábal, after seeing an opportunity to innovate in the real estate market of the northern zone.
In this scenario, he revealed that with his wife, Imalai Canela, he shares not only his personal life but also his professional life, since from the beginning of the business she took charge of the administrative and legal aspects.
In her case, she decided to focus on sales and business development for the agency, with the main purpose of offering a service that combined experience, trust, and results for her clients.
What he values most about his work is the gift of personalized service that can be put into practice.
“I love being able to offer personalized attention, tailored to the specific needs of each customer, which allows me to create a buying or selling experience that goes beyond the conventional,” he said.
He describes his time in the real estate sector as both "challenging and rewarding." These years have allowed him to understand market dynamics and client needs.

In the case of her real estate firm, she points out that its launch has been an exciting journey filled with learning and challenges. It is here that she understands that passion for what they do, and teamwork, have allowed them to position themselves as a reliable option in record time.
During their short time in the market, something they have demonstrated, as he pointed out, is that success is not only measured in numbers, but in the satisfaction of those who choose the brand.
During this time, he noted that they have sold a total of 500 apartment units. This achievement is a result of their commitment and ability to offer properties that meet the needs and expectations of each individual.
Currently, he leads a team of seven associates in the office. He is also part of a larger network of five hundred associates within RE/MAX RD.
The role of real estate agents in society
Ramón Castillo emphasizes that real estate agents have a key responsibility within society, which goes beyond simply selling properties.
As he pointed out, guiding people in decisions as important as acquiring a home is a crucial process that impacts not only the individual level, but also the family and social level.
“We contribute not only to the financial security of families, but also to the creation of sustainable and well-planned communities,” he emphasized.
Their mission within RE/MAX Quality RD is focused on consolidating their position as a benchmark in the real estate sector, not only locally, but also in the international market.
The agency, focused on providing a quality and personalized service, is working to expand its presence and position itself as the preferred option for those seeking comprehensive guidance in buying, selling, or investing in real estate.
