SANTO DOMINGO - The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported that today, Saturday, August 19, 2023, the Floating Bridge over the Ozama River, which connects the National District with the municipality of Santo Domingo East through the Villa Duarte area, will be closed to vehicular traffic for one hour.
Public Works also said that the closure, which will be effective from 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning, will be done to allow the passage of the RM Soco vessel of Svitzer, as explained in a statement by the director of Bridge Maintenance of the MOPC, engineer Romer Francisco Pérez Vargas.
