SANTO DOMINGO. With the purpose of continuing to strengthen its institutional plan, the Real Estate Registry (RI) recently swore in title registrars and regional directors attached to Cadastral Surveys.
The new managers were selected through a competition involving internal and external professionals, where, after an exhaustive evaluation of profiles, it was determined that they meet the requirements to be part of the technical and operational strengthening of the RI.
These new appointments expand the response capacity of the Title Registries in Cotuí, the National District, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Higüey, and San Pedro de Macorís. They also strengthen the regional offices of Cadastral Surveys at the central headquarters and in the eastern part of the country.

Ricardo Noboa, National Director of Title Registration, stated that title registrars are called upon to perform their duties with transparency and adherence to the rules, to guarantee and protect real estate rights; generating trust and legal security in all real estate transactions.
At the event held at the National School of the Judiciary, the National Director of Cadastral Surveys, surveyor Ridomil Rojas, stated that the main challenge we have today as a technical body is to adapt the level of response according to the needs of our users, which will impact the development of the real estate sector and the national economy.
"These appointments strengthen the mission structures of the Registry of Titles and Cadastral Surveys," the official explained.
