SANTO DOMINGO – There's one thing Odalis Feliz never leaves out when talking about herself and her personal and professional achievements: God. She reveals her deep devotion to Him when she reflects on her thoughts before expressing her ideas.
“God has given me the ability to overcome adversity and emerge stronger from each of them,” said the CEO of Larimar Home Real Estate in a conversation in which she described herself as a resilient and entrepreneurial woman.
Given this last quality, he recounted how he decided to start the real estate business, accepting the risks involved and having the wisdom to carry the project forward. Throughout all his achievements, he continues to put God first.

Odalis was born in the municipal district of Bahoruco, in the province of Barahona, a place that motivated her years later to name her company "Larimar", a semi-precious and unique stone of the Dominican Republic and the world that grows in the land where she was born.
April 1st, 2016, is a very special date for her. So symbolic that, despite the time that has passed, she keeps it close to her heart. That was the day she decided to join the real estate sector.
When talking about this beginning, she does not leave out the name of a friend, Keylin Furcal, who opened doors for her and recommended her to the company where she worked, starting from that moment her new great adventure of undertaking a new style of work.
“It was an unexpected opportunity, I never planned it, since my plan was to finish my degree as a clinical psychologist, which at that time I was in my eighth semester,” she said.
Five years later, Feliz takes the next big step: he founds “Larimar Home Inmobiliaria” on August 28, 2021.
“Larimar, as a name, represents identity and its own light. For me, it signifies progress and stability, which is a symbol of the history of the family business,” she proudly shared.
Through this agency, the CEO specified that they provide advice for buying, selling, renting and managing properties, as well as support in legal processes.
When asked what sets them apart, she pointed out that they offer personalized service to their clients. And, above all, she highlighted a very distinctive element: they dress in their own brand and “wear elegant, precious jewelry made of larimar.”.

“Since we started this company, we have trained more than 25 advisors. We provide quality services and make the dreams of many families come true,” he said.
His vision of the profession and the sector
Odalis Feliz, a real estate specialist, highlighted that the Dominican Republic's real estate sector is in a growth phase and represents an engine of the country's economy.
Among the positive aspects she perceives in this market, she highlighted the opportunity for growth that exists, not only at a professional level, but also in the possibility of establishing meaningful relationships, meeting new families and expanding her network of contacts.
Furthermore, he emphasized the advantage of socializing with the construction world, which allows for constant learning and the discovery of new trends in that sector.
When discussing areas for improvement, he spoke about some values that must be upheld during the development of this profession, namely "responsibility" and "professional ethics," which must be present when promoting a property "to construction companies and clients.".
Similarly, he stated that the work of real estate agents should be more valued, as well as the time they usually dedicate to their work.
