SANTO DOMINGO.- MobiliApp, a platform designed for publishing and searching for real estate assets, was selected by Banco Popular Dominicano as one of the 10 finalist companies in the Impúlsate program, sponsored by that bank to support entrepreneurial initiatives.
Rafael Paredes, general manager of MobiliApp, appreciated that his company had been selected, highlighting that "it is a great step forward that an entrepreneurship program of this level and a brand like Banco Popular Dominicano values the development we have made and what we still need to do.".
“We are very proud and satisfied to be part of this select group. We have the support of real estate professionals and companies at this event to continue developing technologies that contribute to the development of the sector,” the professional told El Inmobiliario .
He pointed out that he attributes the recognition to the excellent performance the company has been showing, the acceptance of the real estate sector, and the rapprochement with other financial institutions with which the company he represents also has agreements.
He added to the reasons the constant implementation of new accessible technologies that boost and simplify real estate processes, without neglecting the needs of clients and users.
He explained that the entrepreneurship program chose his company as one of the 10 finalist projects that can be selected to receive seed capital of RD1,100,000, in addition to special mentions in three categories.

“The bank chose us because of the good performance we have shown, our potential or development projection, and other criteria such as synergy with the bank and product-market fit,” he explained.
He noted that his brand previously went through an internal selection process at the Ibero-American University (UNIBE), which selected them as semi-finalists, and then they went on to the process with the bank that selected them as finalists.
Impúlsate is an entrepreneurship support program carried out by Banco Popular Dominicano, to promote the creation of success stories that inspire young people to develop innovative and sustainable business opportunities that generate jobs and favor national development, according to the bank's literature.
Once a year, the Bank launches the call for applications, with graduates and students from universities across the country.
The prize involves RD$3 million 300 thousand pesos for the first three places, in addition to awarding 300 thousand pesos as special mentions for innovation, social impact, and most voted project.
Paredes reported that the selection of the winners will take place on the 12th of this month of August.
