SANTO DOMINGO. -The Real Estate Registry announced the installation of five new continuously operating reference stations (CORS) in the provinces of Santiago, Samaná, San Juan de la Maguana, Peravia and La Altagracia, expanding the Geodetic Network to a total of nine stations throughout the country.
This expansion improves access and quality in the georeferencing of plots in the Property Registry, especially benefiting the provinces with the highest demand for technical surveying actions.
A press release highlights that with this initiative, the Property Registry seeks to improve the infrastructure of technical services, benefiting professionals in the sector and promoting efficiency in land surveying procedures.
"The expanded geodetic network ensures greater coverage and data accuracy, strengthening the quality of service in support of the country's territorial development," he notes.
He explains that to access the data from these stations, users can enter the Real Estate Registry's web portal, go to the "our services" section, click on "online services" and select "geodetic network".
This option provides direct links to the new stations, optimizing access to updated geodetic information, the institution explains.
