Golf, solidarity and Christmas spirit at PGA Ocean's 4

With a large turnout, PGA Ocean's 4 celebrated the closing of its fourth annual Christmas Golf Tournament at the exclusive Playa Nueva Romana golf course. This yearly event, which has gained popularity for its charitable spirit and commitment to the community, raised funds for caddies, who are essential to the development of golf and the players' experience.

The tournament brought together golfers, fans, and volunteers for a day of camaraderie, competition, and solidarity. More than 120 participants enjoyed an exciting day playing in the Pairs + Caddie Scramble format, competing in teams of two, accompanied by the course caddies, who were honored for their tireless work.

Carlos de Linares Sáez, general manager of PGA Ocean's 4, said: “The fourth edition of this tournament has been a real success, not only because of the participation and competitiveness of the players, but also because of the positive impact it has had on the lives of our caddies.”

In this edition, the winning team was made up of Jan Giha, Rafael Danilo, and Cesar Tirado, who received recognition for their outstanding performance. Meanwhile, Antonio Martínez, José Soto, and Francisco Soto were the runners-up by handicap.

During the event, the funds raised by sponsors and participants were distributed to the caddies as recognition of their contribution to the success of each game and tournament at PGA Ocean's 4.

“This tournament is not just a competition, but an opportunity to thank those who make the unique experience of playing golf on our course possible. We are proud to support our caddies and give them the recognition they deserve,” commented de Linares Sáez.

The event took place in the tropical setting of the countryside, with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, making this edition an even more special and memorable event for all attendees.

"With the conclusion of this successful edition, PGA Ocean's 4 reaffirms its commitment to the community, the sport, and the well-being of those who contribute to the growth of golf in the region. The Christmas Golf Tournament remains a must-attend event for all those committed to the development of golf in the country and to supporting those who make this sport possible," a press release states.
