SANTO DOMINGO - The La Altagracia Tourism Business Alliance (ALETA) yesterday expressed its support for the developer Noval Properties in response to the dissemination of "defamatory news" about the THE REEF project, located in Las Terrenas.
In a statement, the members of the organization, which brings together the main tourism and real estate development companies in the Dominican Republic, expressed their support for Noval Properties, highlighting the brand's more than 20 years of experience in the country, which currently has around 50 projects under construction throughout the national territory.
They emphasize that the developer's path has been one of fulfillment with solvency and commitment, with ethical and moral behavior towards its buyers, which has contributed to the economic growth and development of the real estate and tourism sector of the Dominican Republic.

“We call for responsibility, urging those interested to rigorously verify information before publishing news that could affect the reputation of companies that have worked in a committed and transparent manner in favor of national development,” states the document sent to El Inmobiliario.
ALETA's statement adds that the dissemination of inaccurate or unverified information not only harms the companies involved, but also investor confidence and the country's progress.
“The La Altagracia Tourism Business Alliance (ALETA), which currently contributes to the country with solidity and commitment more than 20 billion dollars of investment, 65,000 rooms built and generating more than 50,000 jobs, reaffirms its commitment to the defense of the business and economic development of the Dominican Republic.”.
The entity states that it supports companies like Noval Properties that have demonstrated their commitment to the country and its people.
