Coldwell Banker real estate agents receive AEI certification

Coldwell Banker is a brand with 117 years in the international market, which has 100,000 real estate agents worldwide with 4,000 offices in 40 countries.

SANTO DOMINGO.- A group of real estate agents from the newly opened Coldwell Banker Santo Domingo office received their diplomas yesterday for the CBR01 and 02 Real Estate courses, taught by the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI), as part of their training plans.

Alberto Bogaert, president of the entity, presented the certificate to the real estate brokers, which guarantees that they received the training offered by the institution and which represents the only accreditation issued in the country for the practice of selling real estate.

Josafat Pérez, CEO of the brand, said he was satisfied with the progress made by the franchise team, whose office located on 27 de Febrero Avenue, National District, began operations in February of this year.

“I’m very satisfied with how the work has been progressing and how the team has integrated into the training and development process. We have a mix of members, some of whom are young people just starting out in the real estate business, and others who are more experienced.”.

He explained that for the brand he represents, it is vitally important that all its agents are up to date with the requirements and information needed to be successful.

“We are venturing into the national market because we believe that, in general, if we have that support and that confidence that the customer can feel through the brand, then we will be successful,” he emphasized.

He explained that Coldwell Banker opened its doors in Santo Domingo in February, bringing to the country a brand with 117 years of history, which has 100,000 real estate agents worldwide with 4,000 offices in 40 countries.

“We are committed to the development of the real estate sector in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana. We believe that as a company we have a great opportunity, especially to work with those people who have previously trusted the brand in the United States and who see that same trust in us,” he explained.

He added that the franchise has been ranked as the number one most trusted company worldwide "and we believe in the work we are doing.".

He said that to date he already has a team of 10 agents in Santo Domingo and 6 in Punta Cana, which shows that he is growing and that he continues to recruit associates who wish to join and be part of an international brand.

“We believe we will have many results and the collective effort of everyone will bear fruit; this is just the beginning of great things we will do as a team and as a franchise,” Pérez noted.

For his part, Alberto Bogaert explained to the group of agents the work that the AEI has been developing to strengthen the sector, highlighting the initiatives that the institution he represents is currently promoting, such as the law to regulate the practice of real estate in the country, among other plans.
