Euromoney awards best bank for real estate.
Santo Domingo, DN – Banco Popular Dominicano was recognized, for the second consecutive year, as the Best Bank for Real Estate in the Dominican Republic by the international financial magazine Euromoney, highlighting its sustained leadership in the mortgage sector, its financial innovation and the social impact of its initiatives.
This award coincides with the results obtained by the entity at the close of September 2025: in the first nine months of 2025, Banco Popular exceeded RD$15 billion in mortgage disbursements.
This figure, the entity states in a press release, consolidates the financial organization in the mortgage market with a significant participation of 28.87% to date.
According to the press release, these disbursements from January to the end of September translate into more than 3,100 loans granted to Dominican families, of which 57% were channeled through strategic alliances with real estate companies, thus highlighting the leading role of these partners of Banco Popular in the country's housing ecosystem.

In this regard, Francisco Ramirez, Executive Vice President of Personal Banking and Branches, highlighted the robust network of more than 785 active mortgage partnerships nationwide.
