Are you familiar with the role of Master Broker? See how it has revolutionized the real estate industry

The increase in the sale of projects is related to the existence of this representation, since the same work can be owned by several companies. 

SANTO DOMINGO – Those involved in the real estate world have heard the term "broker," often used synonymously with "agent." We'll discuss this topic in more detail in another article, but today we'll focus on another role derived from this term: the Master Broker.

One of the Google searches reveals the Web Master Brokers Forum (MBF) which defines itself as a unique organization, made up of the best residential real estate professionals in South Florida, Miami.

Locally, Master Broker has its own story. Bienvenido Paulino explains that he and Pedro Dipp decided to name their group of companies, which had been marketing specific and exclusive projects together for some time, after Master Broker. The name caught on and became popular. It applies to individual or collective use.

The brand, which originated around seven years ago, was later registered by a group of agents as Master Broker RD. Plusval is the agency in the country with the most connections to it, exceeding 25 affiliations.

“It only deals with marketing new projects for sale, not rentals. The distribution varies; sometimes the main person and the others earn the same, other times the person in charge keeps 20% and the remaining 80% is divided in most cases,” says one of the pillars of Plusval.

For Jochimin Pérez Iglesias of Constructora Jprez SRL, Master Broker has been a timely solution that has eased their workload by allowing them to continue serving clients without having to increase office resources. Since the introduction of this role, their contact is limited to monitoring payments from buyers.

The increase in project sales is related to the existence of this certification, since several companies can hold the same title for a single project. “It replaced the exclusivity of projects, and we are thrilled to know that more and more developers are using real estate agencies that are Master Brokers,” says Paulino.

The union represented through this image has contributed beyond sales because developers can focus and expand their range of productivity, since, as Pérez Iglesias explains as an intermediary, it takes care of guiding the entire sales process.

He points out that they take the necessary precautions because "what we sell is trust; we don't have assets in inventory, but rather plans that will be built. Therefore, we have to choose a Master Broker we trust to ensure that the right job will be done for us and our clients.".

Using the Master Broker has given them relief and the assurance that someone is permanently dedicated to the project, says Héctor Bretón, CP Construcciones Planificadas, who adds that it facilitates communication between the different salespeople and the construction company and helps to provide good customer service before, during and after the sale.
