Arajet will connect Buenos Aires with Santo Domingo with weekly direct flights

SANTO DOMINGO –Starting November 14, 2023, Arajet will operate three weekly flights to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The airline announced that ticket sales for the new route are now open, highlighting that for the first time ever, there will be regular, direct flights every week to the land of tango.

Arajet reported that this new route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and that it will soon include connections to other destinations on the continent, allowing Argentine travelers to connect to Canada, Mexico, or the Caribbean via Santo Domingo.

"Now Argentinians will be better connected to the Caribbean than ever before; with Arajet, for the first time we will have a direct flight between our two capital cities, so they can not only enjoy the first city in America or Punta Cana, but also Bayahibe, La Romana, Puerto Plata, Santiago and connect with other countries through our hub," said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet.

He invited Dominicans to visit Argentina, famous for its excellent wine and food, football and tango.

A press release states that tickets are now available on the airline's website, known for its catalog of low-priced routes in the Caribbean, with an introductory promotion of only $169 per leg (excluding taxes and fees), which will be available from today, Tuesday, August 8, until Friday, August 11.

"Arajet continues to expand throughout the region, so we can affirm that Dominicans and Argentinians have an airline that connects them with North, Central, and South America at the best price on the market, with safety and comfort," assured Pacheco Méndez.

Arajet offers direct flights to 22 destinations in 15 countries and is turning the Dominican Republic into the continent's new low-cost hub with 88 connections and a new fleet of environmentally friendly Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft that reduce noise pollution by up to 40%.

Flights on the new Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Buenos Aires (EZE) route are available at a promotional price only at www.arajet.com

Arajet is the first low-cost airline in the Caribbean region, which began operations in September 2022 from its base at Las Américas Airport in Santo Domingo under its Dominican Republic Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
