SANTO DOMINGO. – The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) ratified architect Osman González as director of the institution in the Eastern Region, a position he has held since September of last year.
After receiving the news, González expressed his satisfaction and emphasized that his plans will continue to focus on promoting awareness of the Real Estate Intermediation Bill pending submission to the National Congress, which seeks to regulate the work of real estate agents in the Dominican Republic.
“My plans for this period, moreover, are to continue carrying our message of unity, commitment and discipline in the real estate sector throughout the eastern part of the Dominican Republic,” the commercial director of the developer Civilmek told El Inmobiliario.
Since joining the board of AEI González, who has been living in the country for more than eight years, he has launched a program to raise awareness of the Association among agents who are making a career in the nation's main tourist destination.
These meetings are accompanied by training sessions, taking advantage of his extensive knowledge and experience in the sector, to which he has been linked since he lived in his native Venezuela.

“I see my contributions as stemming from an unavoidable commitment to our AEI, making our Association known to real estate partners in the eastern zone, to developers, and above all, generating trust in the institution,” he explained.
He adds that his goal is to get real estate firms and independent agents to join the organization, get trained, and participate in all the training programs and activities that it promotes.
“Foreigners practicing the profession should regularize their status and register; this generates greater credibility in the sector, and of course, the workshops I offer free of charge to all who request them, 'Connect with your clients,' from the perspective of ontological coaching and as an expert in the real estate sector,” he pointed out.
