Perhaps the biggest celebrity home sale of the year will be in Beverly Hills, because TMZ has learned that Adele is about to become the owner of Sylvester Stallone .
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Adele is in custody for Sly's enormous house, tucked away inside Beverly Park, a super-exclusive gated community teeming with celebrities.
Sources say Adele is paying $58 million for the property. Yes, that's a fortune, but it was listed at $80 million. In fact, in February, Sly initially put it on the market for $110 million, but there were no buyers.
Sly bought the house in the 90s… he and others have referred to it as “The House Rocky Built.”.
It has 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a gym, sauna, steam room, infinity pool, cigar room, screening room, custom bar, art studio, and a 2-story guesthouse.
It is one of the largest properties in Beverly Park, situated on 3.6 level acres with incredible city views.
Adele now owns two properties close to each other in the Hidden Valley area of Los Angeles. We're told she wanted a bigger house… and she's getting it. Sly and his family moved to Palm Beach, Florida, where they purchased a massive property for $35 million. That house has 13,200 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms… all the amenities.
Stallone's new neighbors now include rockers Jon Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart , as well as Howard Stern .
Adele is currently in the escrow inspection phase. If all goes well, the deal will close by the end of this month.
