SANTO DOMINGO - The 9th edition of the National Housing Roundtable returns tomorrow, October 14, with an excellent lineup of topics and experts to discuss the current state of the sector, its challenges and prospects.
“A unique space where professional leaders and key players in the industry come together to share experiences, trends and opportunities that will shape the future of the housing construction sector,” reported Acoprovi, the Association of Housing Builders and Developers, through its Instagram social network.
The meeting, which takes place every two years, brings together the main voices interested in housing development in the country, from authorities of public institutions, international representatives and construction companies, financial entities, among others.
“The National Housing Roundtable has been, throughout its editions, a key space where commitments have been reached that have transformed housing policy in the Dominican Republic,” says Acoprovi, who points out that the space will serve to debate, propose and build solutions that strengthen the future of housing in the country.
In its 2025 edition, the event will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel and will feature a variety of national and international speakers. “Experts from across Latin America will share experiences, public policies, successful models, and technological tools that are transforming access to housing,” the association states in its promotional campaign on social media.
Exhibitors
Among the professionals who will take the stage are: Monique de Céspedes, who will talk about Artificial Intelligence; Ilsie Miranda, who will analyze the inter-institutional single window; Mario Urrutia, on preferential interest rates and financing; Rodolfo Santa María, who will talk about the use of the personal capitalization fund for access to housing.
Ileana Rojas will also speak about incentives for sustainable construction in the country, Rodolfo Bragagnini will talk about multifamily housing as a successful model for rentals, among others.
