San Francisco to Santiago Road
He made a direct appeal to business owners in San Francisco de Macorís, Tenares, Salcedo, Moca, and Santiago to join a “strategic table to promote the four-lane highway from San Francisco de Macorís to Santiago,” a project he described as “essential to strengthen the northwest productive corridor.”
The event, held on the campus of the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), brought together the main business leaders and authorities of the Northern region .
Strategic Investment of Pension Funds
Santana stressed the need for "responsible and diversified management of pension fund investments," noting that "these resources must grow and yield more with guarantees and security."
He suggested sectors such as housing as an investment opportunity that offers "superior profitability, generates thousands of jobs and helps to reduce the housing deficit."
Business unit for strategic projects
The business leader emphasized the power of business unity, citing the Amber Highway , currently in the bidding phase, as an example.
Commitment to decentralization
Referring to the State's management model, Santana pointed out that "the Dominican Republic needs to move towards a more balanced model where the regions have greater participation and autonomy," reiterating ACIS's commitment to harmonious territorial development.
Institutional commitment
In closing, the president of ACIS reaffirmed the institution's commitment to "democracy, free enterprise, and sustainable economic development," assuring that the association will continue to be "a space where every company, regardless of its size, has a voice and value in building the country's future."
