Lissette Balbuena Zeller is a lawyer, graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), with a master's degree in Business and Economic Law, and postgraduate studies in International Commercial Law at APEC University, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Her professional profile highlights that from 1993 to 1994, Zeller worked as an associate lawyer for the firm Barnichta & Associates, specializing in corporate transactions, business and tax practices.
She adds that from 1994 to 1997 she was an associate at the Villanueva Law Office, a Dominican firm dedicated to providing legal services primarily in civil and commercial practice.
From 1997 until before joining Stewart Title Dominicana (now Secure Title Dominicana) as general manager at the end of 2000, the professional worked as a Special Analyst, Legal Manager of the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD), now Pro-Dominicana, coordinating two important projects: "The Dominican Republic Investor Roadmap", and the "National Foreign Investment Strategy" for the Foreign Investment Advisory Service ("FIAS") of the World Bank.
