SANTO DOMINGO. - A fire engulfing an electrical substation in the Gascue sector was reported this Monday at 5:13 p.m.
According to the National District Fire Department, units are already on the scene trying to extinguish the fire.
Regarding the location of the fire, firefighters indicated that it is specifically located at the corner of César Nicolás Penson Avenue and Rosa Duarte Street.
Intense smoke can be seen from several areas near Gascue, and residents of the area report that they have been without electricity since an explosion was heard.
