SANTO DOMINGO.- Qik Banco Digital Dominicano, SA – Banco Múltiple, a subsidiary of Grupo Popular and the country's first neobank, presented its new Qik Shared Account, a financial solution that allows two people to save and manage their money together in a completely digital way, without needing to go to a bank branch.
This account is the only one in the national market that offers a 100% digital co-ownership experience, ideal for couples or partners who want to share expenses and achieve common financial goals. It also offers an attractive tiered interest rate of up to 5%.
Easy to open and manage from your mobile phone
Users can activate a Qik Shared Account directly from the Qik app and invite another person simply by entering their ID number. Both users must be Qik customers (Qikers). After accepting the invitation, the account is automatically opened, and both users can manage it in real time, deposit funds, and transfer money to other Qik customers or customers at other banks, all from their mobile phones.
The inclusion of this new account reinforces the neobank's vision of transforming the way Dominicans interact with their finances, making banking more accessible, efficient, and collaborative.
New features: CASH code for cash withdrawal
As part of its ongoing innovation, Qik also announced the activation of cash withdrawals via CASH Code at its more than 650 Qik Sub-agents nationwide, in addition to its existing network of over 1,200 ATMs. This feature allows residents of remote communities to access cash, further democratizing access to essential banking services.
Both innovations strengthen Qik's value proposition, which focuses on simplifying processes and reducing costs, providing more efficient banking services through a mobile application.
The Qik App also incorporates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analysis to optimize financial management, adapting to the demands of today's customer, who requires immediacy, transparency and absolute control over their economic resources.
