SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported this Friday that the Floating Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic this Saturday for two hours, to allow the entry of a vessel.
The closure will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in order to facilitate the entry of the vessel MV Atlantic, IMO: 8002731.
The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) urges drivers and regular users of this road that connects the National District with Santo Domingo East to take the necessary precautions and use alternate routes to avoid problems during the indicated time.
The provision is part of the maritime coordination protocol that guarantees the safety of both navigation and those who transit through that structure.
Public Works reaffirms its commitment to safe, orderly and efficient mobility for all citizens.
