SANTO DOMINGO.-Banco Popular Dominicano invited all families to enjoy a new edition of the Miracle of Christmas, its traditional Christmas show, which has remained in force for more than three decades and which on this occasion will be performed free of charge on Sundays 15 and 22, and on Wednesday 25 of December, Christmas Day, at the Torre Popular complex.
As every year, the organization expects to receive the attendance of thousands of people, adults and children, who enjoy this theatrical production, which recreates the birth of the baby Jesus and is a spiritual gift from Popular to Dominican society.
For several generations, the message of peace, harmony, and family integration in this work has become a Dominican Christmas tradition.
More than thirty actors and members of the Popular Choir, all employees of Banco Popular and their children, are responsible for performing this living nativity scene. The script was written, the cast directed, and the production is staged by playwright Iván García.
The three performances of this play, now in its thirty-third edition, will begin at 6:30 p.m., culminating in a fireworks display that always delights adults and children alike.
