“Today we return to New York with a renewed conviction of the importance of homeownership for people. It represents a sense of long-term stability and security, and this fair is our way of demonstrating that for BHD, it is also important to help people achieve this dream, this future they so deeply desire. The Real Estate Fair is part of the Bank's commitment to the Dominican diaspora, with whom we have been working for several years,” Simó stated during his welcoming remarks.
The fair takes place in the Radio Hotel event hall in Washington Heights, from September 27th to 29th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Attendees will find general information and financial education on how to access housing in the Dominican Republic, provided by the organization, according to a press release.
He emphasizes that attendees will also be able to learn about social housing projects, high-value housing, and housing in tourist areas in the Dominican Republic, presented by the construction companies and real estate firms that have come together with their offers.
Last July, Banco BHD exclusively sponsored the first real estate fair organized by a Dominican company in Spain. More than 750 people attended the event over its three days.
