SANTO DOMINGO.- Banco BHD announced that it has joined the Employers Network promoted by the Ministry of Labor to facilitate the labor market integration of people in vulnerable situations and promote access to real opportunities in the Dominican labor market.
At the signing ceremony led by the Minister of Labor, Eddy Olivares, Martha Peralta, Senior Vice President of Talent and Culture at BHD, sealed the organization's commitment.
Peralta stated that at Banco BHD, "we reaffirm our commitment to human progress by promoting decent and equitable employment for all people. For decades, we have implemented Dignified Treatment in our work culture, a comprehensive approach that seeks to guarantee equal opportunities, respect for human rights, and non-discrimination. This encompasses all employees, clients, suppliers, and contractors.".
The Employers Network agreement signed by Banco BHD coordinates efforts between the government and the business sector in initiatives that aim to create conditions for decent, equitable, and discrimination-free employment. It also seeks to facilitate access to the labor market for people with disabilities and members of diverse communities.
Martha Peralta highlighted that, for the banking entity, joining the Employers Network of the Ministry of Labor represents a historic agreement for labor inclusion and adds value to the inclusion practices and the reduction of inequalities that BHD develops.
BHD's participation also aligns with advances in accessibility and integration of people with disabilities, as demonstrated by the start of the certification process with the National Council for Disability (Conadis), recently announced.
