SANTO DOMINGO- The Santo Domingo East Builders Association (ACOSDE) will hold the ACOSDE 2026 Business Congress on October 29th, a meeting that will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors to analyze investment, innovation and urban development opportunities in Santo Domingo East and the country.
The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo Hotel, under the theme "Building the future: innovation, investment and urban development for a more competitive Dominican Republic.".
The congress will feature an agenda of conferences and panels led by officials, businesspeople, and specialists linked to national development.
Santo Domingo East as an investment territory
One of the central spaces will be the business panel "What does SDE need to become a territory of investment and development?", in which the challenges and opportunities of the demarcation to attract new investments and strengthen its urban development will be analyzed.
The day will continue with a business lunch designed as a networking space for entrepreneurs, professionals and representatives from different sectors.
The urban development panel "Santo Domingo East: from territory of expansion to city of opportunities" will then take place, followed by the conclusions and the work agenda of ACOSDE under the motto "From opportunity to execution".
In this sense, with this second edition of its Business Congress, ACOSDE seeks to strengthen the dialogue between the public and private sectors and promote initiatives linked to investment, innovation and sustainable growth in Santo Domingo East.
The association invited engineers and builders who develop projects in Santo Domingo East to participate in the meeting.
Data, financing and legal certainty
Among the participants will be Perla Rosario, from the National Statistics Office (ONE), who will offer the conference "The data that are changing the map of Dominican construction.".
Javier Rodríguez Zelnick, from Banco López de Haro, will also participate with the presentation "Economy, financing and development".
Meanwhile, Joselin B. Vásquez Morel, from the Registry of Titles, will address the topic "Legal security for investing and developing.".
The agenda also includes Luis Matos, from Grupo Malla, who will speak about "Profitability is built on the construction site," and Yermys Peña, from Studio YP, with the conference "Technology, innovation and productivity in construction.".
