SANTO DOMINGO.– A private plane crashed Sunday afternoon near the La Romana airport in the eastern Dominican Republic, killing both crew members.
Preliminary reports indicate that authorities and emergency agencies remain in the area carrying out the corresponding tasks, while the circumstances in which the accident occurred are investigated.
So far, no official details have been offered regarding the identities of the victims or the causes of the accident.
