After so many years in the business and real estate world, I have come to a conclusion that for me today has more value than any number, property or recognition achieved: there is no true success if in the end you do not manage to build a solid family.
Life often pushes us to pursue financial gain, positions, growth, wealth, and social recognition. And that's not wrong. Work is dignified, progress is necessary, and goals are an important part of human development. I myself have dedicated practically my entire life to work, to building, to undertaking projects, and to striving every day to achieve my objectives.
But over time one learns that money solves things… while family sustains life.
Because it's pointless to achieve all the economic success in the world if in the end you arrive alone, empty, or without a family to embrace you, support you, and give you reasons to keep going.
Over the years I have come to understand that true wealth is not only the possessions one accumulates, but the people with whom one builds the path.
Today I can say that I feel like an accomplished person not only professionally, but because God allowed me to form a family that has been my greatest blessing and my greatest strength.
I have had the privilege of sharing 50 years with an extraordinary life partner, who has been silently, firmly and constantly present in every stage of my existence.
Often, the world only sees the person in the spotlight, the one who signs off, leads, or achieves visible goals. But behind every man who manages to build something important, there is usually a woman who endured processes, sacrifices, difficult moments, and emotional burdens that went unseen.
And in my case, no achievement would have been possible without that daily support from my Puchunga.
Nothing replaces having someone who believes in you even when you doubt yourself. Nothing substitutes coming home and feeling emotional stability, understanding, support, and peace.
In addition to that, there are my children and grandchildren, who represent the deepest reason for my existence. They are the true "why" behind every effort, every sacrifice, and every day of work.
Because there comes a time in life when one understands that economic success is important... but it is incomplete if it is not accompanied by family success.
I've known people with immense wealth and very little peace. People with large companies but broken homes. People who achieved public recognition but lost what was most valuable to them, something money could never bring back.
That's why today I value more than ever having built a united, stable family based on principles.
That has been my true wealth.
Because at the end of life, the applause fades, businesses change, and positions pass. But family… family remains.
And if God were to ask me what I consider my greatest achievement after so many years of work, I probably wouldn't mention a property, a company, or a negotiation.
I would simply say: having formed a family that gave me the strength to become who I am.
